TeamLogic IT Provides Specific Training To Sell Managed IT Services
Properly presented and explained, the concept of a predictable, affordable IT solution is received enthusiastically by business owners
Many TeamLogic IT franchise owners come from sales backgrounds, but many do not. That’s why during their initial training and onboarding, as well as through regular live and online calls, webinars and special sessions, TeamLogic IT staff continue to hone sales and marketing techniques.
Nowhere is that more evident than in the efforts put into the most effective ways to present, promote and sell managed services, says Chuck Lennon, president.
“We continue to grow managed IT services as a core part of our business model,” Chuck says. “One of the selling points of TeamLogic IT compared to other brands in our segment is that managed IT services give our franchise owners a steady, reliable stream of revenue while also guaranteeing their clients prompt, affordable and comprehensive service. So it’s incumbent upon us to make sure that our owners are comfortable talking about the many positives managed IT offers a business.”
Managed IT services grow as a business segment
In 2015, TeamLogic IT reported managed IT services at 34% of total revenue, which rose to 43% by 2016 and continues to grow. That shows the sales and marketing effort is working, and it also confirms businesses are hungry for an IT solution that works.
“We are very innovative with our marketing, and we work with every TeamLogic IT franchise owner, alongside his or her sales team and even their techs, to make sure they know how to promote managed IT services,” Chuck explains. “The core promise we make is that, if a business owner signs a managed IT services contract, he or she has us available to service any need, 24/7. That could be anything from dealing with a malware or virus attack to a server crash or cloud-access problem. We have worked very hard to get that message across, and the success we are seeing means that it’s working.”
Additional sales training coming in 2017
As part of its 2017 Master Plan, which calls for strong growth in terms of the TeamLogic IT franchise network, there will be even more support when it comes to sales and sales training, he adds.
“Our network will be adding several salespeople this year, and they’ll be working with our franchisees in order to enhance their efforts in the local market,” Chuck says. “When clients get information about managed IT sales from us, or from a fellow business owner who’s referring us, they always want to know more. We are making sure that everyone in our network is comfortable and skilled when it comes to both talking about the positives of and selling managed IT services.”
