TeamLogic IT Poised For Explosive Growth In 2018

Rapid national expansion in 2017 bodes well for another year of new franchise locations as more entrepreneurs join the brand

The U.S. economy continues to show steady growth, and the same could be said of the TeamLogic IT franchise brand — if you replace “steady” with “amazing,” that is.

TeamLogic IT hit the 100-location mark in 2016, and by mid-2017 it was operating in 120 areas. That number continued to rise throughout the rest of the year, ending with more than 130 offices and more to come, says Chuck Lennon, president.

Interest and demand fuel growth

“We started 2017 with a strong pipeline of leads that turned into new franchise owners, and we’re heading into 2018 in the same position,” Chuck says. “We are training many new owners in January, which is the earliest class we’ve ever held, because so many are coming on board during the fourth quarter.”

The rapid growth comes as TeamLogic IT franchise owners are growing their businesses in two different types of markets: those already served by a TeamLogic IT franchise, and those where the brand is new. The fact that franchises are doing well in both areas is a testament to strong offerings, such as managed IT services, and overall high-quality work, Chuck notes.

Sales and profits continue to climb

“When we began, nobody else was even thinking about managed IT services, but just operating with a break-fix model,” Chuck says. “We changed the conversation, and now everyone is trying to catch up to us.”

That’ll take some work. As of late 2017, TeamLogic IT franchise operations were on track to record a 25% growth in comparable-location sales, and the entire network was closing in on annual revenue of around $50 million.

“What we are seeing is phenomenal, and it’s due to having a great network of franchise owners,” Chuck says. “These are men and women who have taken a solid concept and just knocked every opportunity out of the park. They are why more people are interested in what we are all about, and why so many more entrepreneurs are opening their own TeamLogic IT franchise.”
