TeamLogic IT’s 2017 Master Plan Is Built For Franchise Success
Planning to succeed means succeeding to plan, and TeamLogic IT has that locked down with a comprehensive roadmap for the upcoming year
The year’s early months are a great time to map out business plans and forecasts, and every TeamLogic IT franchise is busy doing just that. At the same time, the corporate team also is rolling out a strategic plan that will help every franchise owner and his or her team succeed.
“We have finalized a business plan that calls for continued development in two areas: the size of our network, and the organic growth of our network,” says Chuck Lennon, president. “If we’re expanding in new and existing markets, and also growing our revenues where we already are, then we’re going to succeed.”
“But our focus is not on just opening new locations and putting dots on a map,” he adds. “This whole plan is about focusing on the products, training and support we are offering our existing TeamLogic IT franchise owners, and helping them get to the next level.”
Growth to take many forms
The plan calls for more than 30 new TeamLogic IT franchise locations to be added to the network during 2017. That’s ambitious, but almost 30 came on board in 2016, so it’s a doable goal, Chuck says.
“We think we can hit last year’s number just based on the inquiries we’re receiving, and the potential owners we have in the pipeline now,” he says. “But equally important to us is our same-store growth. We saw a 26% increase in comparable office sales in 2016 over the previous year, which is an amazing number. Nobody else is going to come near that.”
For 2017, TeamLogic IT will be trying to hit a target of 22% revenue growth over 2016 across the entire network. That’s a bit down from the 26% mark, Chuck says, but that’s because of the focus on adding new TeamLogic IT franchise locations.
“We think the quantity of new franchises we will add will offset that number a bit, so we’ve set it a little low,” he explains. “There’s no reason we can’t blow right past that figure, because I think we’ve set it on the conservative side.”
R&D continues to be major component
Another way TeamLogic IT supports franchise operations is through its robust research and development process when it comes to vetting and introducing new products and programs. TeamLogic IT franchises succeed not just because of managed IT services and great service and support, but also because they can bring the latest, and best, solutions to their customers.
“Major technology firms come to us with their hardware and software, because as we continue to expand across the country we’re a great distributor partner for them,” Chuck says. “But before we put anything in front of our clients, we make sure it’s a solid product that’s scalable and adaptable to the rapidly changing IT needs businesses have. Look for even more movement in that area during 2017, because there’s a lot of great tech coming, and we’re going to investigate all of it.”
TeamLogic IT is the technology franchise small and medium-sized businesses increasingly rely on for turnkey support. TeamLogic IT’s managed IT services contracts give clients peace of mind around their technology needs, and provide franchise owners with a steady, predictable revenue stream. The company now serves a wide and growing variety of clients in every business sector, from the tourism and hospitality to healthcare, legal and accounting. Along the way, TeamLogic IT has grown to more than 100 locations in North America, and continues to expand in both new and existing markets.
