TeamLogic IT Moves Up on Influential MSPmentor List

National and international ranking organizations continue to call attention to TeamLogic IT’s deep and wide bench of skills and services

The most recent honor TeamLogic IT notched is a No. 36 ranking on the MSPmentor 501 Global Edition-Worldwide Company Rankings. This is MSPmentor’s annual list of the world’s most progressive managed IT services providers; the ranking marks a 14-spot jump for TeamLogic IT and its fourth straight year for inclusion.

Ranking showcases forward-looking business model

“To be ranked one of the top 50 managed IT services providers in the world is a huge accomplishment,” says Chuck Lennon, president. “We have built a very good reputation in the industry, and this is just another reinforcement of TeamLogic IT’s value. It really elevates our image.”

In 2016 MSPmentor began using a new approach to compile its list, one that homed in on quality, transparency and relevance as it assessed managed IT services providers. Along with partner Channel Clarity Advisors, it created an algorithm that assessed company strength based on revenue contributions from key go-to-market activities, with some weighted more than others.

“They placed a higher value on revenue generated from true managed IT and cloud services than on that earned from professional series, consulting and product sales,” explains Frank Picarello, Chief Operations Officer. “The methodology also includes factors that go beyond revenue, such as cloud-based backup and disaster recovery, or BUDR, remote monitoring and management, or RMM, and managed security.”

Recognition aligns with growth and support strategies

The ranking also highlights how well TeamLogic IT’s strategic direction and technology roadmap are serving franchise owners. Success in the areas outlined by MSPmentor have helped their numbers swell to more than 120 locations, with dozens more coming online in 2017.

“We scored well in the MSPmentor algorithm, and we continue to advance our offerings in those areas and others,” Chuck says. “By offering fully outsourced IT support, as well as supplemental support for internal IT departments, we can be there for any kind, and any size, of business. For instance, we are hearing a lot more every day about cybersecurity, which affects everyone.
