TeamLogic IT Names Top Volume Franchise For 2017 Revenues

Boston-area team continues run thanks to the fundamentals of dependable customer service and nonstop work to bring in new clients

The awards dinner at the TeamLogic IT franchise owners’ annual meeting is a big deal, and a lot of fun. This time around, however, it was also a little bit like deja vu as Jim and Andy Hackett once again snagged Top Volume Franchise honors.

This is the second year running and third year overall that the Boston-area TeamLogic IT franchise owners, who have six franchise locations, took home the honor. But fear not, Jim Hackett says, there may be some new faces on the podium soon.

“We have a friendly rivalry with other franchise owners, and I’m pretty sure there’s one group that may overtake us,” Hackett says. “But that doesn’t mean we’re not going to try to prevent that from happening!”

Fellow franchise owners share best practices

That rivalry is indeed quite friendly. The Hacketts share a lot of information with their fellow TeamLogic IT franchise owners — even numbers. The way they see it, when one operation succeeds and passes some tips along, everyone in the network benefits.

“We’re always trying to find ways to grow, and so are they,” Hackett says. “It just makes sense that we would want to integrate with fellow franchise owners so we all are able to bring in more clients and grow revenue. It’s amazing that TeamLogic IT is up to 135 franchises now, and that growth shows that there is a need for these kinds of services across the United States. There’s plenty of opportunity for all of us, so helping each other is good business.”

Planning, networking and footwork keys to success

Eleven years in, the Hacketts continue to eye the future hungrily. That includes expanding an operation that now has 27 employees and more than 300 business and corporate clients. It also includes a well-rounded business plan that includes marketing managed IT services and other TeamLogic IT franchise differentiators to both new and existing clients.

“We want to increase revenue and profits again, so we’re looking for a minimum of 10 percent growth year over year,” Hackett says. “But we don’t just hope that will happen — we’re putting our feet on the street.”
