TeamLogic IT Training Now Includes Meeting Potential New Owners
Peer-to-peer interaction allows interested entrepreneurs access to owners who can share why they’re so enthusiastic about the brand
One reason TeamLogic IT franchise owners succeed is that they are part of a national network that constantly communicates. And it’s not just current franchise owners talking, either — now potential owners can get in on the conversation as well.
“We have begun scheduling training sessions for new owners to coincide with our discovery days for potential franchise owners,” explains Chuck Lennon, Executive Vice President of Business Development. “We thought that our newest team members have a lot to say to our prospects, and that has definitely been the case.”
Creating opportunities for conversations
What this does is allow someone who’s still very limited in their knowledge of TeamLogic IT to sit down with a group of men and women who have decided to become franchise owners. They are willing and enthusiastic to share why they made that decision, and what they’ve been learning so far.
“Every day that people are here for training, they become more excited,” Lennon says. “They are learning the ropes, and they greatly enjoy talking to our prospects and answering questions. And it’s not just all ‘rah-rah,’ either. People who visit us for a discovery day have a lot of tough questions about revenue streams, landing clients and more. Having the opportunity for them to speak with new owners vs. just our team makes that visit much more meaningful.”
Showcasing TeamLogic IT’s valuable onboarding
This setup also allows potential owners to see TeamLogic IT franchise owner training in action, something they might not ordinarily get to witness on a site visit to the corporate offices. TeamLogic IT University, a weeklong deep dive into every operational aspect of a franchise, acts as a selling point on its own as well.
“Site visits often involve a lot of presentations, and this way those visitors can go and see what our actual training looks like,” Lennon says. “It’s much more hands-on. We are very aggressive in how we train and prepare new TeamLogic IT franchise owners, and so are more than happy to showcase how all that works. Seeing the training materials and schedule, and then meeting with new franchise owners, is getting a lot of discovery-day visitors excited and eager to become part of the team.”
