Teamlogic IT Franchise Owners Don and Nancy Warden Snag Rookie Of The Year Honors
Nashville-area Teamlogic IT franchise takes off from the outset thanks to careful planning and a market that was more than ready for managed IT services
When asked about his first year owning and operating a TeamLogic IT franchise, Don Warden will tell you that he believes he’s done pretty well. He didn’t think it was an award-winning start, perhaps, but learned otherwise during TeamLogic IT’s recent Owners Summit.
Don and wife Nancy, who own a TeamLogic IT franchise in Franklin, Tennessee, just outside rapidly growing Nashville, picked up Rookie of the Year honors at the event. That means they passed the other franchises in the class of 2016 when it comes to revenue, client roster and other markers of success.
Standing out through hard work
“Don and Nancy just blew us away when we first met them, and I had a feeling they’d be on the awards podium sooner rather than later,” says Chuck Lennon, president. “They got up and running so quickly, and took advantage of all the phenomenal growth around Nashville to build up a solid book of business right away.”
Other TeamLogic IT franchises in the mix this year are in Baltimore and Fort Meyers, Florida, and Don thought that while he was doing well, one of those would likely pick up the honors.
“We were coming along in our peer group, but I really thought one of them had it,” says the U.S. Navy vet and former value-added seller. “They both were having a great run, so we were surprised and pleased when we won.”

Don has credited TeamLogic IT’s strong array of marketing materials, as well as training in sales, with helping him and Nancy hit the ground running. He also points out the ongoing calls and webinars available for owners, as well as networking groups, make a huge impact as well.
“We have exceeded expectations, and the support we’ve received is behind that,” he says. “Even before we officially opened we got help from the corporate team on a deal we were pursuing. That was a cost to them, and they didn’t have to do it. We’ve also gotten so much valuable input from other owners who have taken the time to talk with us, answer questions and give advice. Everyone involved with TeamLogic IT goes above and beyond the call for us, and that helps us succeed. It’s just a good, positive relationship all around.”
