Four additional franchise operations mean TeamLogic IT solutions are available throughout northeastern Massachusetts

Jim Hackett saw the growth opportunity for his TeamLogic IT franchise from day one, almost eight years ago. His son Andy, who co-owns the business, was equally enthusiastic — if a bit more pragmatic.

“I wanted to have a bunch of franchises right away, but Andy said, ‘Dad, can we get the first one going?’ I had to slow down a bit,” Jim says. “But I knew when we first opened our doors that we’d want to have five or six of these, and I’ve been proven right.”

Success leads to growth

By securing four more franchise territories adjacent to their existing coverage area, the Hacketts have created TeamLogic IT of Northeast Massachusetts, and they now are working to bring on more staff to support clients as they expand outward.

“We got here because there is a strong demand in this marketplace for managed IT services, and for IT service professionals that the clients can really count on,” Jim says. “That’s how we have been able to experience the profitability that is leading to this growth. In reality, we’ve been selling products and services outside our coverage area for quite some time, so really what we’ve done is just formalize what we already had in development.”

Support key to development

In addition to their own staff’s hard work, the Hacketts also are quick to point out the many ways that TeamLogic IT’s corporate team has helped them develop and grow over the years.

“They are an absolute delight to work with,” Jim says. “They help us maintain our vision and develop in such a way that we can go ahead and expand. We have a great relationship with the entire team at corporate, and they have helped us connect and build camaraderie with other TeamLogic IT franchise owners. It’s a great network to be a part of.”

For his part, TeamLogic IT President Chuck Lennon says that the Hacketts’ willingness to take part in webinars, marketing efforts and other business-building endeavors offered by the corporate office has made them both successful and valued partners.
