TeamLogic IT Wraps Up Action-Packed Annual Franchise Owners Meeting
Rapid network growth, strong vendor interest and a rapidly changing IT services landscape all point to a busy future for this growing brand
When TeamLogic IT franchise owners meet up for the annual Owners’ Summit, they don’t get a lot of rest. That’s because in just a few days they not only hear about the growth and direction of the network, but also interact with vendors, share best practices and much more.
“I say this every year, but it was the best one we’ve ever had,” says Chuck Lennon, President. “We pack more and more into the event in response to requests, and it continues to be very well-received by our owners and business partners who attend.”
Rising vendor participation yields dividends
TeamLogic IT’s growing presence across the United States and Canada has raised its profile among tech vendors, many of whom want to be on hand at the summit. This year there were 36 suppliers, running the gamut from hardware and software suppliers to companies offering web analytics, vehicle leasing, financing and even phone answering services.
“We ran out of room, which shows the interest,” Chuck says. “Each one really engaged with our TeamLogic IT franchise owners. They had giveaways, which drew attention to their products, and we had a separate reception just for them so they could mingle and network with franchise owners away from the show floor. I’ve already gotten calls from companies wanting to know next year’s date and how they can sign up.”
Glimpse of the future also included
The corporate team uses the summit not just to meet up with TeamLogic IT franchise owners, but also clue them in on plans for the coming months. They also are able to trouble-shoot in quick, one-on-one meetings, making the summit even more valuable, Chuck notes.
“There’s an educational component; if someone is having trouble with a client, one of us, or another owner, can offer some advice and next steps,” Chuck says. “We also get to roll out our view of the industry at this point in time, talking about TeamLogic IT’s growth and also highlighting how we are addressing trends and concerns to ensure continued growth. And speaking of growth, we wrapped 2014 with 65 open offices and will close 2017 with 135 — more than doubling the network size. That’s the kind of comparison everyone likes to hear.”
