Report: Small Businesses Looking To Boost IT Spend In Coming Year
A year filled with shutdowns and workarounds heightened the value of a strong tech backbone, and now businesses are ready to up their systems
The professional community will be unpacking the lessons of 2020 for a long time to come, but one is crystal clear already: good IT is vital. This is not news to our IT franchise opportunity owners; it’s a part of their core sales strategy. But now that businesses are looking at online operations as well as in-person ones going forward, there’s heightened attention to hardware, software and cloud computing.
That’s one of many takeaways from a recent industry report generated by William Blair, which dove into the current state of the managed services provider, or MSP market. The upshot? MSPs are in a very good position — and that is good news for longtime industry leader TeamLogic IT.
All eyes on the booming MSP market
Even before the pandemic, interest in the managed service provider, or MSP, market was growing. Success breeds imitation and competition, but with more than a decade of growth behind its managed IT services model, “TeamLogic IT is more than ready to meet the challenge,” says Chuck Lennon, Executive Vice President.
“The report told us what we already knew in terms of how the MSP market is growing, but still has plenty of room for expansion,” Lennon says. “As a technology franchise, we’ve seen that for more than a decade now. And our franchise owners’ success, along with our growing footprint, proves that we have the business model to capitalize on this trend.”
Small businesses need the expertise of our IT franchise opportunity
TeamLogic IT technology franchise owners have always targeted the small- to medium-size business market. Now they should have even more success there, according to the report, which stated “The digital requirements of [small and midsize businesses] are undergoing a sea of change, as technologies once deemed essential only to larger enterprises are now becoming critical for [them]. The challenge is that rising technology complexity, increasing security threats, and deep, in-house IT expertise are beyond the comfort zone for many SMBs, which is precipitating the need for outside help and fueling the growth in the MSP market.”
What that means, Lennon says, is that “a business of just about any size stands the chance of having an issue around security, cloud computing or just general operational bandwidth of their tech. They need a trusted partner who can offer what we do: peace of mind through managed IT services. They focus on the business, and our franchisees are focusing on their IT.”
TeamLogic IT is the technology franchise small and medium-sized businesses increasingly rely on for turnkey support. TeamLogic IT’s managed IT services contracts give clients peace of mind around their technology needs, and provide franchise owners with a steady, predictable revenue stream. The company now serves a wide and growing variety of clients in every business sector, from tourism and hospitality to healthcare, legal and accounting. Along the way, TeamLogic IT has grown to more than 200 locations around North America and continues to expand in both new and existing markets.
