This year’s summit, held September 16-19 in San Diego, CA, featured a sold-out vendor expo, inspiring keynote presentations, and the much-anticipated annual franchisee awards.
“Our community of peers is among the best in the managed services industry,” said Dan Shapero, President and COO of TeamLogic IT. “The annual Owners Summit and Vendor Show is the high point of the year for our network, providing an opportunity to learn from industry leaders and each other, share best practices and celebrate our success.”
In his keynote address, Shapero highlighted the significance of the brand’s 20th anniversary and the network’s tremendous growth, reaching a milestone of 300 locations. TeamLogic IT experienced a 15% growth in comparative sales and the opening of more than 20 locations.
“Managed services providers (MSPs) have shown remarkable resilience in the face of economic uncertainty,” noted Shapero. “Technology continues to be the driving force behind modern business, and the demand for essential services like managed security, cloud migrations, data protection, and cybersecurity remains strong regardless of economic conditions.
Another Sold Out Vendor Expo for 2024
The Vendor Expo at the Owners Summit was once again an impressive highlight. This year’s event was met with tremendous success, selling out entirely and featuring participation from over 60 distinguished vendors, including Pax8, Bitdefender, CyberQP, Cytracom, Nodeware, ScalePad, and Sophos among others.
The expo functioned as a dynamic marketplace, bringing together franchisees and vendors to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and exchange the latest ideas and technologies. The remarkable turnout not only reflected the excitement within the TeamLogic IT community, but also demonstrated the industry’s acknowledgment of this event as a prime opportunity for connecting with the IT franchise network. It was a true testament to TeamLogic IT’s energy and its influential role in shaping the future of IT enterprises.
Annual TeamLogic IT Franchise Owner Awards
The Owners Summit is also a chance for TeamLogic IT to honor franchise owners and technicians in several different areas.

At a closing awards ceremony, the following awards were presented:
- Dan & Becky Thomas of Durham, NC were named Franchisee of the Year.
- Brad Rabinowitz of Team Logic IT in Boca Raton, FL, received the Rookie of the Year award.
- Will Smith of TeamLogic IT in Durham, NC, received the Technician of the Year award.
- The management team from TeamLogic IT of Newtown, Pennsylvania, led by Pratik Roychoudhury, once again received the Top Volume award for its #1 ranking in the entire franchise network based on 2023 sales. Nine other franchisees also received Top 10 awards.
- VIP (Volume Increase Percentage) awards went to Gene Fong of Commerce, CA; and Davis & Barbara Merrey of Oklahoma City, OK.
- 8 franchisees were inducted into the Million Dollar Club for reaching at least $1 million in revenues.
