Two of those data points, systemwide sales growth and unit growth over three years, are shown within the ranking. Other data points include percentage sales growth, percentage unit growth, dollar sales growth and numerical unit growth over the past three years.
The database for the project is the Franchise Times Top 500, the publication’s annual ranking published in October of the largest franchise systems by revenue, in which TeamLogic IT ranks at #316. The Fast and Furious List is then made up of companies that submitted information for all three years for that project, then those with systemwide sales above $40 million are selected for analysis.
TeamLogic IT is always Improving
In the company’s listing, TeamLogic IT president Dan Shapero says he’s always excited to see franchisees support one another in the system and “level up each other,” which is his motto for driving profitable growth. TeamLogic IT posted systemwide sales growth of 48.1 percent from 2018 to 2020, to $95 million with 221 total units. The company started 2023 with 266 open locations, and network revenue is expected to grow 22% during the year to more than $190 million. By focusing heavily on growing a subscription base for managed IT services, TeamLogic IT increased subscription revenues to more than 50 percent of its total category revenue in recent years, according to Franchise Times.
“Because these revenues recur monthly, cash flows are predictable, and growth rates are exponential,” Shapero says. The move during the pandemic by many businesses to have people work from home, in addition to a rise in cybersecurity threats, helped fuel demand for services provided by TeamLogic IT franchisees. To keep up, the company invested in more field support to aid owners, from coaching and training to sales, marketing and employee management.
